Privacy
Last updated: September 2026. This page describes what we actually do. It is not legal advice, and you should have a lawyer review it before launch.
The short version
We do not set cookies. We do not run analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking pixels. We do not collect any information from children. The only information we ever receive is what a parent types into the birthday-song form.
The birthday song form
If a parent or guardian sends us the form, we receive the child's first name, the age they are turning, the language of the song and the parent's email address. We use those four things to write the song and to reply. We do not sell, share, or use them for anything else, and we delete them once the song has been delivered and any questions are settled.
Videos
Our videos are hosted on YouTube. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play on a video, and when you do, the player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com. From that moment YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that playback.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers. If you would rather avoid that entirely, the fonts can be self-hosted — write to us and we will prioritise it.
Hosting
This site is a set of static files hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare keeps standard server logs for security and abuse prevention. We do not add anything to them.
Children
This site is made for children, but it is not built to collect anything from them. There is no account, no login, no comment box, no upload and no chat. The one form on the site is addressed to a grown-up and says so.
Your rights
If you have sent us the form and want your details corrected or deleted, write to [email protected] and we will do it, usually the same week.
